Join us at Magpie Thrift to work in the store helping customers, taking in donations, learning job skills, and work in an inclusive queer friendly environment.
Recycle
Our recycling program is focused on making sustainable living more attainable and impactful for communities by providing accessible, culturally competent recycling resources that go beyond the surface level of traditional environmental education. We want to help people think critically about the resources we all use: where these things came from, who or what was impacted along the way, and where they will be headed next.
Supporting Through Transitions
Downsizing is common event in a seniors life and so often these citizens, particularly from marginalized communities are left behind to deal with a lifetime of possessions and no one to help them. We want to bridge this gap of care by helping folks sustainably redistribute and reorganize their possessions with kindness and gratitude.

There are so many talented people sharing sustainable practices with our communities every day. We want to create a space to uplift these folks and invite others to come together to not only share in the love of creative reuse, but to also use as an event space. There are too many of us who need a safe space to gather, connect, speak, share, and dance.
